David Thompson has been practicing law since 2004 after graduating from University of Virginia in 2001 and then Emory School of Law.

He grew up in Austin, Texas and has been in Atlanta since 2001 when he arrived for law school. He has two daughters that go to Cobb County schools and a wife that is a professor at Kennesaw State University.

He initially worked for two defense firms, one small and one very large, learning his craft in workers compensation and personal injury before striking out on his own in 2013 by starting his own firm representing injured workers. After a great nine years he got the opportunity to work with a very longtime friend to head up the workers’ compensation department for Rohan Law. It is great to be able to do what he’s always done but with the assistance of some amazing paralegals and assistants.

David believes that one of the things best about this firm is the focus on client contact and the attention to detail to make sure your case gets all the attention it deserves.
