Thank you for calling Rohan Law regarding your Speeding Ticket.

While you're waiting to hear back from our staff, we want to share a couple of general items with you just so that you're aware before we have our next conversation. The first thing is that if you are speeding 14 miles an hour or less, then you do not need to hire an attorney because you will not get points on your license. In fact, this is one of the few times where you can pay your citation online, if that's one of the options you've been given.

If you were speeding 15 miles an hour or over above the speed limit, we need to talk about what the next steps are. The only time you really desperately need an attorney is if you were a super speeder going 75 miles per hour or more on a two-lane road or 85 miles per hour or more on a freeway. If that's the case, then you need to worry not just about your ticket and your court date, but also an additional $200 search charge for the Department of Driver Services. If you have a relatively minor history and you haven't had speeding tickets in the past, then just talk with the solicitor and they will agree to reduce the speed to 14 over. It is very important you go to court in person.

We want you to keep in mind we're here sharing information with you so that you don't need to spend money with us. So please, when you have friends or family that need the help of an attorney know that we're here to provide you with valid and truthful information and you can refer your friends and family to us with confidence.

Look forward to talking to you soon. We are your best friend on your worst day.
